Print Design Portfolio’s

Where to start with a Print Design Portfolio?

First selecting the right projects for your design portfolio that are showcasing your prize work. Think of the projects selected that show your strengths with design, form and functionality.  Next revisit those projects and tweak anything that you you feel needs a little extra help in presenting your work wisely.

Second and most important is Branding yourself. Really look hard at “you” and figure out what most stands out for strength’s, weaknesses, color’s that describe your personality. Then create a new identity for your print design portfolio.

Once you have the branding and your top projects for your portfolio you must then figure out what elemintz (elements) are needed for print and web. These will include package design, business cards, resume, banner ads, website, fliers and most importantly your top design projects.

The tricky part is keeping a cohesive design throughout each piece that you decide is necessary to brand “you” the best.

Below you find some great resources for pointing you in the right direction based on the design elemintz you choose.
